INTERVIEW WORKSHOPS - Volunteers Needed

Chemical Engineers can make a difference in the lives of new graduates, and you can refine your interview skills while making a difference. AIChE (NorCal) and ACS (Santa Clara, San Francisco) sections are partners for offering interview workshops at Northern California Universities to help students learn interview skills. Students are coming to interviews with excellent credentials, but they are unprepared for job interviews. Interview Workshop Volunteers will participate in mock interviews with students and they will provide feedback to help students obtain jobs easily.

Volunteers review interview skills, interview styles, and typical questions asked in interviews. Interview workshops were held in Fall 2007 and many more are planned for the 2007-2008 school year. Depending on how many people volunteer and the time you are willing to donate, the number of schools we can visit is limitless.

Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced professional, you can make a difference!
