Brief Biography of Dr. Sulin Chou

Dr. Sulin Chou is a Corporate Vice President and General Manager of
Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group. He shares responsibility with Mike
Splinter for managing Intel's technology development and manufacturing activities.
Dr. Chou joined Intel in 1971 as a Development Engineer and worked as
technical contributor or manager on several device modeling, process development, and
memory component design programs, prior to becoming a Director of Technology Development
in 1980. He was promoted to a Vice President of the Technology and Manufacturing
Group in 1988 and elected to be a Corporate Vice President in 1992. In 1998 he
assumed responsibility for comanaging the Technology and Manufacturing Group.
Dr. Chou is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, from
which he received a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1966 and 1967,
respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Electricl Engineering from Stanford
University in 1971.
