Maryam Shariati

Maryam Shariati is a Senior Applications Engineer at West Coast Regional Center for ESI. She received her BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, a MS in Biochemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Ph.D. from University of Southern California (USC). She is the South Bay Director of NorCal AIChE, the 2003 Co-chair of NorCal AIChE Biotech Symposium, Presidential Fellow and speaker at numerous conferences. She has written over fifteen papers on modeling and simulation applications in the areas of microfluidics, microarrays, biosensor, drug delivery instents, and medical devices. She is a member of AIChE, SWE, and MEMS club.
