Announcement

The Northern California section of AIChE will host its 41st Annual Symposium, "Emerging Trends in Biotechnology," at the South San Francisco Conference Center on Tuesday, April 29, 2003.  Now at a larger venue, this year's symposium provides a unique opportunity to learn about biotechnology and emerging trends in the Bay Area.  Join speakers and professionals from Alza, Bayer, Chiron, Abgenix, Genentech, Caliper Technologies, Bioseek, and other leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in conveniently located South San Francisco.

This symposium is intended to provide an introduction to the emerging trends in biotechnology. Technical leaders in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries will present and share the technology and opportunities for engineers.  At this symposium, you will learn about fermentation, drug delivery, bioinformatics, chromatography, and much more.
